'Ocean Tide' Sand Feature Wall

In the early stages of my venture into the realm of 3D design and art, I had the distinct opportunity to contribute to a professional project at SeaWorld through Sculpt Studios, designing a feature wall. The task was to encapsulate the intricate textures and shapes formed on a beach sandbank as the tide recedes, a natural spectacle that produces a very unique rippling effect. Utilizing ZBrush, I meticulously hand-sculpted the model, segmenting it into panels for the subsequent stages of production. These panels underwent CNC machining, and molding, and were ultimately treated with a sand coating to realize an authentic, tactile experience in the final installation.
